Asphalt Repair

Hot patches, crack sealing, sunken catch basin rebuilds, and the alligator zones nobody else wants to bother with. We dig out the cause, not just the symptom.

A small crack today is a pothole next summer and a section failure the year after. Asphalt damage almost never gets cheaper to fix the longer you wait, because every storm cycle pushes water deeper into the surface and starts working on the base layers underneath. The job we do is to catch it early enough that a small repair stays a small repair.

We handle hairline cracks with hot-pour sealant, mid-size cracks with rout-and-fill, full-depth potholes with proper saw cuts and hot mix patches, alligatored areas with cut-out and rebuild, and drainage-related failures by actually fixing the water issue first instead of just covering it. The hardware store crack-filler tube is fine for one weekend. We're here for the next ten years.

What we'll do for you

  • Walk-around with you and an honest take on what's actually needed
  • Hot-pour crack sealing on hairlines and active openings
  • Saw-cut full-depth pothole patches with hot mix and compaction
  • Cut-out and rebuild on alligatored sections that can't be surface patched
  • Infrared repair on seamless top-layer fixes where the base is sound
  • Edge and shoulder rebuilds where the pavement is breaking off the side
  • Drainage corrections so water stops eating the same spot every storm
  • A clear note on what to do next and when to come back for a sealcoat

If a real repair won't get you what you need, we'll tell you. Sometimes the right call is a partial overlay or a section replacement, and we'll lay out the math so you can make a real decision instead of a guess.

Three things we do that other crews won't

We'll talk you out of the wrong fix

If a patch is going to fail in six months because the base under it is gone, we'll say so. We'd rather lose the small ticket than send you a bill for work that won't last.

Professional materials, not bucket fills

Hot-pour rubberized sealant, real saw-cut patching with hot mix, infrared repair for top-layer work. Not a tube of cold patch from the home center that pops out a month later.

A small fix today saves the big spend

Catching cracks before they turn into potholes is the cheapest math in this whole industry. A few hundred dollars now saves you a tear-out estimate later.

Asphalt repair FAQ

Rough rule of thumb: if the damage is concentrated in roughly a quarter of the surface or less, and the rest of the pavement is structurally healthy, repair is the right call. If you've got widespread alligatoring, deep ruts, or drainage failures across the whole surface, you're throwing money at patches and the better spend is a tear-out. We'll walk it with you and give you the honest answer.
A proper saw-cut patch with hot mix should give you three to seven years or more, depending on traffic. Crack sealing buys you a couple of years per application and is meant to be reapplied as part of regular maintenance. Cheap cold patches measure their lifespan in months.
Yes. We do small section work all the time. A handful of potholes, a stripe of bad asphalt at the curb cut, or a sunken catch basin doesn't have to mean a big project. Call us and we'll fit it in.
Almost always because the base underneath has failed and the surface patches keep getting pushed up and broken. The fix isn't another patch on top, it's cutting deeper, rebuilding the base material, and then putting a real patch over it. We'll show you the difference during the walkthrough.
